Cavemonkey50.com has an interesting post on his OSx86 10.4.4 installation experience.

Apple has greatly improved the performance of OSx86 for the final released build. Applications load faster, effects work without delay, widgets appear faster, and best of all, Rosetta is fast. It’s everything I dreamed it to be.

I wonder if it has nVidia drivers built in one of the biggest turn offs of the developers version is the poor support for hardware. I guess I will have to try that out over the weekend.
